My name is Daniëlle Gloudemans and I was born and brought up in Geffen. During my third-year work placement at Belle Vie, I already thought: this could well be the place where I’d like to work in the future. That feeling only grew stronger when I had the pleasure of working as a freelancer at Belle Vie from late 2024 until May 2025. After a brief stint at another practice, I am therefore absolutely delighted to be part of the Belle Vie team once again.
I originally wanted to become a doctor, but whilst exploring my options, I realised that midwifery suited me much better. The combination of responsibility, personal contact and supporting families through such a special stage of life is what makes this work so rewarding for me.
In my spare time, I enjoy going out with my friends. I value a sense of togetherness and connection, both in my personal life and at work. My favourite moment during a shift? After a smooth delivery, enjoying a cup of coffee with rusks and aniseed sprinkles together with the new parents. It’s always a special moment, every single time.
