My name is Marinda van Lierop, and I work at Belle Vie as a (recreational) ultrasound technician. I qualified as a midwife in 2000 and ran my own midwifery practice for several years, where I worked as both a midwife and an ultrasound technician. I have now been working for several years as a lecturer on the maternity care training programme, which I thoroughly enjoy. The combination of working as a lecturer and an ultrasound technician creates a wonderful dynamic for me, which I can also balance well with being a single mum.
I live in Brabant with my three children and two dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy walking in the countryside, going to the sauna and attending a fun festival with friends. I also take a cold shower every day and, if possible, take a weekly ‘dip’ in cold natural water. I’m keen on personal development and coaching.
