Coaching
The period surrounding pregnancy is a rollercoaster of emotions. Sometimes it feels as though a heavy blanket has been draped over you, and you don’t enjoy things as much as you’d hoped. At Belle Vie, we offer a listening ear and professional support to help you regain your strength.
“Take my hand – you don’t have to do this on your own. Feel free to tell me; together we’ll sort it out.”
— Judith
When your hormones are running wild.
It’s okay not to feel like your usual cheerful self for a while. Perhaps you’re struggling with fears about giving birth, finding it hard to adjust to your new role as a parent, or looking back on a previous pregnancy with a sense of unease. These feelings don’t have to be intense or overwhelming for you to pay attention to them.
As a midwife and qualified coach, I see every day just how intense this phase can be. Because there isn’t always enough time for in-depth conversations during medical check-ups, I have specialised in coaching and postnatal recovery. I offer you the peace of mind and the tools you need to break patterns and regain control of your thoughts.
Coaching & EMDR
Are you struggling with questions such as “Where’s that ”pink cloud“?” or “How can I regain confidence in my next birth after a traumatic experience?” Partners who are coming to terms with their new role are also very welcome.
Guidance and insights
We’ll start by asking: what would you like to change in your life? Together, we’ll get to the heart of the matter, and I’ll offer you insights that will help you see situations in a different light. If necessary, we’ll use EMDR to help you come to terms with traumatic experiences.
The coaching programme
The first step
It starts with recognising that it’s OK to ask for help. You’re welcome to visit our main centre in Rosmalen or come and see me “In the back garden” for a confidential chat.
The initial consultation
During the first session, we’ll explore what you need help with. What has brought you here, and what challenges are you facing? Valuable insights often emerge right from the start.
Structure and focus
We summarise the current situation and decide where to focus our attention. We look not only at the ‘why’, but above all at the ‘how’ – how you can see things differently.
Getting started
Between sessions, you’ll often be given small tasks or practical tips. This allows you to integrate your new insights straight away into your daily life.
Completion and growth
We won’t conclude the programme until you feel that you have regained enough confidence and peace of mind to carry on independently.
We’d be happy to ring you back

Answers to practical questions about our welfare services
How much does a coaching programme cost, and is it covered by insurance?
The cost of an individual consultation is €96.50 per hour. As Judith is a member of the VIV professional association, many health insurers cover the sessions (in part) under supplementary insurance as ‘alternative or psychosocial care’. Please check this with your own insurer beforehand.
Can my partner also come for coaching?
Absolutely. The transition to parenthood has a major impact on both parents. Partners may well be struggling to come to terms with their new roles or a difficult birth. Coaching can help restore balance within the relationship and the family.
Is coaching also available through my employer?
Yes, many employers are willing to fund a coaching programme as part of personal development or return-to-work support. For self-employed people, too, the costs are often tax-deductible as business expenses.
