Miscarriage

Blood loss in the first 16 weeks of the pregnancy.

1 in 10 pregnancies ends in a miscarriage. A miscarriage is often caused by a predisposition disorder or an abnormality of the fetus. This usually is a chromosomal  abnormality which is rosen during the fertilization. With as a result the embryo can no longer grow and will be rejected. This chromosome abnormality is rarely hereditary and mostly there are no consequences for a subsequent pregnancy.
A miscarriage is not caused by physical exertion, such as making love, falling, cycling, horseback riding or motorcycling.
